Founded in 1977, Michael G. Shears Co., Inc. has for over thirty years been a reliable member of the community, providing construction services to homeowners and businesses. MGS Inc. has an extensive portfolio of custom homes and estates built in the Belle Meade, Forrest Hills, and Oak Hill area of West Nashville, and the Brentwood area of north Williamson County. This local family company has a second generation with son, Michael K. Shears, a prominent part of the company. In addition to custom building, MGS. Inc. is an active builder of spec homes, featuring Southern Living Magazine plans, in some of the area’s most popular neighborhoods.
MGS. Inc. separates itself from the large tract builders by meticulous attention to detail, outstanding materials and finishes, skilled workmen, and strong warranty service. Our customers always deal with a familiar hometown face, like Robert Collins, our construction superintendent, who started with MGS. Inc. as a carpenter in 1977. Just about every custom client, dating back to the early 80’s is still in the house we built for them. Our dependable suppliers have changed little over the years, all dedicated to customer service.
